Choose a cake that reflects your wedding's themes
and colours, made from the best local produce. The wedding cake
is the centrepiece of the wedding reception, and often a small gift
for those who were there to remember, and for those not able to
be present. A very special cake is therefore required, which can
be a decoration during the reception, and a focus for the cameras
when the bride and groom cut it. As part of Cwlwm's services, Eleri
Roberts prepares unique wedding cakes, specially for the occasion.

Eleri
only uses the very best ingredients - fresh farm eggs, the highest
standard of butter and dried fruits, and to give it that extra kick,
as part of the process of maturing the cake, she adds a little brandy.
Fruit or sponge cakes are available, in a traditional or modern
way - exactly as you wish. Eleri also creates all the decorations
and flowers by hand, and she welcomes the opportunity to design
and decorate the cake in a way that complements the wedding's own
colours and themes.

Eleri has been cooking and baking since she was
young, and was a keen competitor with the young farmers and in local
shows. Following a catering course at Llandrillo College, she was
the chef at a local hotel, and making wedding cakes for many years
in her spare time. As a mother of five, she also knows a bit about
baking cakes at home! She has recently opened a bakery next to Y Felin. If you want to discuss your own special requirements

Bu Eleri wrthi'n coginio er yn ifanc, gan gystadlu'n
frwd gyda'r ffermwyr ifanc ac mewn sioeau lleol. Yn dilyn cwrs arlwyo
yng Ngholeg Llandrillo, bu'n coginio mewn gwesty lleol, ac yn gwneud
cacennau priodas ar ei liwt ei hun am sawl blwyddyn. Mae'n fam i
bump o blant, felly mae ganddi gryn brofiad o wneud cacennau adref
